Due to health reasons I am no longer offering massage therapy.
I am relocating to Palm Springs CA to live with my Daughter and it is going to take some time to get settled. I don't have a location for my studio yet. I am not taking new quilts at this time, keep checking back for updates - or sign up for my email updates so I can contact you when I am ready to start quilting again.
I have been sewing since a small child when my grandmother tought me to sew on a treddle sewing machine. When our Mother passed away a few years ago we found a box of 80 9 patch blocks in a box and figured they were grandmas. When I started looking at them I told my brother they didn't look like her sewing because they were sloppy and none of them were square. He started laughing and said they must be what grandma had us making when she tought us all to sew - yes boys and girls all learned. I have since squared them up and am making quilts for myself and my siblings.
This is oneof the quilts I made from the blocks. This one is for my big brother Lee. Some of this fabric is really ugly but it made a very interesting quilt. I used the circle lord feather wreath and continuous curves. Turned out pretty good I think.
